Alicia Malone

Alicia underwent the FilmStruck registration process. It is which is a TCM movie streaming platform. Malone recorded Robert Osborne's and Ben Mankiewicz's introductions to read them out loud in front of the cameras ahead of her TCM broadcasting channel audition for hosting. Malone auditioned to get a Turner Classic Movies hosting position. They tapped her for the position in on January 1, the year after. Malone has spoken about the challenges faced by women working in film in two distinct TEDx presentations. Maree has appeared on various other television shows as well, such as Today NPR CNN The Movies documentary MSNBC Access Hollywood E! Entertainment Tonight, MTV & ABC's Live from the Red Carpet Oscar 2019 pre-show. She has also created and anchored Fandango's YouTube channel Indie Movie Guide.
